Roof Cleaning Process

  • Moss Removal and Gutter Cleaning

The first step is remove any large chunks of moss that come off easily with a soft bristled brush. Once this has been accomplished we will clean out the gutters and downspouts to ensure proper flow before continuing with the cleaning process.

  • Soft Wash

We use a mixture of bleach, soap, and low pressure water to treat your roof. If you have any bits of moss left they will turn white and look like cotton candy. If you have black algae and discoloration it will turn brown.

  • Rinse

A light rinsing with a garden hose will help speed the cleaning process. At the end of the session you will see a noticeable improvement in your roof. The small chunks of moss and algae will continue to fall off in the coming weeks.
